So, being the Kingdom Hearts fan that I am, I reserved 358/2 Days ahead of time! And yesterday was the day it came out! I planned to get it on my way to work in the morning. I got there, had to choose between getting 358/2 Days postcards or the poster (they gave me both. :P), turned in an unwanted game to put more money towards the game, and finally reached into my purse to find....... no wallet. T_T No..... wallet. Not only could I not buy that beloved game just yet, I pretty much drove around with no driver's license.
So, I called my dad and told him to look for my wallet in my room. He found it and gave it to me while I was at work. I dashed out the door as soon as my shift was up I got to Gamestop and, at long last, got my hands on my very own copy of 358/2 Days.
I waited later that night to play it with Sam. The intro video was awesome, introducing each one of the Organization members. The cutscenes look really awesome, but when in in-game, the graphics kinda hurt my eyes. It's on a DS, after all. The gameplay is interesting, I guess mostly because it's played on the DS, which is a different experience for me. One thing I like, though, is that it's challenging. Makes it feel more like a real game and not some last second thought. The dialogue also helps with that feel. It's really good. Each member keeps the same personalities as they had in previous games. As cool as it is to talk with them, the tutorial sessions with them are painfully long. And I kinda get stuck in certain parts, like I don't know how to get certain items I need for certain missions.
It's only the beginning, though, and hopefully I'll get the hang of the controls and material. I think this is going to be a great game. ^_^
Now, phase two: get my OWN DS. :P
